Cash out Poker Tournaments provide players with the option of cashing out some, or even all, of their chips before the tournament winner is decided.
How’s it different?
Cashout poker tournaments differ because in each buy-in it is divided between the regular tournament prize pool and what is known as the cashout pool. Players sit down knowing that they are not only competing for a share of the tournament prize pool, but also can take up the option of cashing out some or all of their chips before the tournament has ended.
Some players like to take part in cashout tournaments because it gives them an easy out at any stage of the tournament. If a player is not doing to well and they want to recover some losses, a cashout tourney is the way to go. If a player decides they want to cash out their chips, they can do so at the end stage of the tournament and even during a hand. The amount that can be withdrawn is calculated by comparing the size of the buy-in against the size of the players current chip stack. The longer you stay in a cashout tourney, the bigger your chip stack will grow. Therefore, the higher your cashout pool will be. The cashout option allows you to have a guaranteed profit from the tourney. If there is any money left in the cashout pool at the end of the tournament, it is then transferred to the normal pay out pool and is added to the main tournament prize. Then it is paid out to all players who are entitled to a cash prize proportionately. |
